April 16, I sanded the fairing compound with 80 grit and sanded the cedar with 120 grit. Then I masked it off and went about rolling the Petitt 3175 white on with a small foam roller. This makes for a water tight encapsulated very strong bottom. Once that was compete I brushed a coat of varnish on the cedar planking and transoms.
Tomorrow I will trim out the garboard planks with Petitt jade green 3348 and add another coat of varnish to the cedar.
