Sunday morning, I spent about 30 minutes doing a little detailing. After turning the boat upright I drilled 4 5/8″ holes, 2 in the bow for the bow painter and 1 on each side of the upper portion of the midship bulkhead. These two holes will be used to attach fenders and for side tying as well. What’s left is mounting the two sets of oarlock mounts. Then finishing up by building a pair of nice straight grain Fir oars. The last two will have to wait till after Thanksgiving.
