Thursday. Today is exactly one month from the time I started the 16′ Garvey “Jimbo”. Yesterday I put in 6 hours finishing up fairing the interior. Then moved right to planing the lumber for the combing. The combing is built with full one inch by 10″ Fir. Once planed, I started right in on cutting and fitting the 3) 10″ boards. Today I spent another 6 hours scribing, sanding and filling the screw hole of the combing. I also laid down the fiberglass on the deck surfaces and saturated it with a coat of epoxy.
