Saturday. Today was a huge day for my neighbor Jerry Johnson. About 3 years ago Jerry bought an old bare lifeboat hull. He trailered that hull to his shop on Puget Island and started the long process of building a fish boat for he and is wife Nalane to enjoy on the lower Columbia. Today we launched her. Jerry is in his mid seventies and, he did all the work himself!! Congratulations to Jerry! My hope is to have as much energy as Jerry when I’m his age.
