This last week I completed the foundation forming, and my business partner finished up the rough plumbing for the two bathrooms, two kitchenettes and the laundry room. Hopefully we’ll pour concrete next week. What you’re looking at is a Mono Slab. This type of foundation is not only very, very strong, but one other real benefit is that the footings, stem walls and concrete floor are completed with only one pour. Also while Jody, Josey and I where on one of our daily walks I snapped this quick shot of a “Fox Glove”. Just one of the many wild flowers we have here on the lower Columbia river.
