October 28, 2011; 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Today, rather than getting right to prepping the hull for fiberglass, I decided to plank the 3/4″ plywood transom with clear full 1″ x 5″ old growth fir. After planing, cutting and fitting the plank to size I glued and screwed them into place with epoxy. Then I moved right to removing the wire stitches.
