March 7, 2012; 10:30 am – 3:00 pm; day # 71. Today I built the tiller, then installed and rigged the rudder blade. I then installed the port and starboard bronze port lights. Tomorrow I hope to finish with the actual construction of “Eider”. What will be left is rigging her.
I will name this vessel “Vanessa” after our daughter-in-law.
