November 4, 2011; 9:30 am – 5:00 pm. This is day 14. Last night after dinner I spent 1 1/2 hours putting a thin top coat of fairing compound over the hull. Today I built the keel shoe, stem, bilge keels and then fit and installed them with epoxy and screws. I added the bilge keel because I plan to beach this vessel quite often.
