Today I hung some framed photos in the cabin. They add that homey feel.
Last week I rebuilt the whole tiller and tiller/rudder mounting. I plugged the big hole in the back of the cockpit combing. This hole was where the old tiller came thru and the tiller was fixed – no up and down movement and the side-to-side movement was very restricted. Now the boat can turn on its own axis because the rudder can be turned at a right angle. Also you can stand straight up with the tiller in your hand as you navigate a harbor.
