Today was another cool Fall morning on the Columbia River. Here are a couple of photos. There’s one of my friend Jerry Johnson. Jerry is in his 70’s. This is his first summer retired from commercial fishing. He asked if I would show him how to catch a Columbia River Chinook with a rod and reel. Jerry was born and raised on Kodiak Island and moved to Puget Island, WA a few years ago.
