Today was a busy day of coordination. After making templates for the windshield safety glass, I drove to Longview, Washington, dropped off the cuddy cabin foam for the cushions to Longview Upholstery and dropped off the glass template to Twin City Glass. Pelicano 18 – Windshield Reassembled
Reassembled and epoxied the fir windshield together. I also cut and installed all the Douglas fir wood plugs and applied two coats of paint to her exterior.
Pelicano 18 – Fir Windshield
Sanded the wood filler and then built the fir windshield. Started at 7:45 am and ended at 3:30 pm.
Pelicano 18 – Cockpit Inwales
The inwales around the cockpit were built and installed today. Started at 8:00 am and ended at 1:30 pm.
