Today, I worked 5 hours sanding the hull’s faring compound with 120 grit then masked off the chine plank and applied 2 coats of ablative bottom paint. There’s a portion of the bottom I did not paint because that’s where the motor well will be cut in.

Today I swept up the shop a little and then put in a couple hours releasing the clamps and glueing the gunwales to the sheer. After letting the glue cure for about four hours, I removed the clamps and cleaned up the glue. Tomorrow I’ll begin the process of applying the fairing compound.

Today I put in 5 hours knocking all the high spots off with 60 grit and an orbital sander. I then cut and fit the exterior bow stem and then cut and glued run strips to the bottom. Tomorrow I’ll begin the application of the 410 fairing compound and cutting and steaming the gunwale guards.
