This rainy morning I cut and installed the leather oar protectors and stops.

Today I received and then mounted the placard for “Slough Coot’s” tender. Meet “Coot Chick”.

Today I built this little redwood pram a set of Douglas fir oars! She’s ready for a swim.

Today I built and installed the bench seat and sealed the ribs, inwales and bench with clear epoxy.

Today I built and fit the plank ribs, inwales, hard wood (Purple Heart) oarlock mounts and the s.s. bow “D” ring. Tomorrow I’ll build the bow to stern bench seat, then sand and seal the days work with epoxy.

Today I built and fit the corner knees, then sanded and sealed the interior with clear epoxy! Tomorrow the plank ribs and bench seat.

Today I cleaned the shop and removed the boat from her mold. I then sanded the interior and filled all voids with epoxy wood flour. Next week I’ll stared building her interior!

Today I applied the 4th coat of Jade green topcoat and cut in the bottom paint. Tomorrow she’ll come off of the mold and be turned over. I will then get started on the interior!

This morning I applied the second coat of jade topcoat paint!
