November 24, 2011; 11:00 am – 4:00 pm; day 24. Today I feathered out the fiberglass edges and seams with WEST’s 410 fairing filler.
Eider: Filling the Inside Seams
November 23, 2011. The last couple of days I’ve worked 8 1/2 hours combined. I have filled all the inside seams with epoxy wood flour and then fiberglassed them. This is always a suck job!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!

November 18, 2011; day 20. I only worked a couple of hours on the boat today. I removed the cradle and set the boat at her waterline. Then, I went and helped a neighbor haul some gravel.

November 12, 2011. After dinner I worked for an hour and a half masking off and sanding the green hull paint with 220 grit sand paper and an orbital sander. This was a very light and quick sanding. Then I added a 3rd cost of Jade green. The next step will be righting the hull…

November 10, 2011; 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Today is day 17. I cut and fixed, glued and screwed 1 1/2″x 1/4″ UHMW to the bottom of the keel shoe and bilge keels. Then longboarded the hull again with 120 grit and added another coat of filler to the low spots.
