August 30, 2012. Over the last couple of days I’ve put Vanessa on her trailer and getting her polished up for the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. The very hard part about the timing of the show is that it is right at the peak of the Fall Chinook season. Here are a few photos.

Sculling Oar for Vanessa
Today I spent 2 1/2 hours building the sculling oar for Vanessa. Tomorrow I will sand it and add a 2nd coat of varnish and then do the same the following day.
