Memorial Day Sail 2020
Getting Ready for Sailing Season
Saturday. A couple of weeks ago, I inflated the Bombard, cleaned her up and put a coat of bottom paint on. Yesterday I pulled “Slough Coot” to the nearby boat ramp and rigged her. Today we launch!! It’s summer time!!

This last week I varnished all exterior brightwork. I also moved a cam-cleat and fairlead on the port upper deck for the new staysail furler line.
Slough Coot – Post-yearly Maintenance
This last week I did my yearly maintenance to “Slough Coot”. A complete exterior sanding and paint job to her superstructure and hull. The bottom paint will be done outside next spring.
