Today I finished up the electronics on the 20′ Banks Dory! She is now ready to launch as she sits on her new wooden trailer.

Yesterday I lifted the 20′ Banks Dory and placed it on its new wooden trailer. It fits perfectly. I now can have the bow stop made.

Today the fender supports and the tail lights were wired in. Work most of the morning was in the rain! I got a chance to take a couple photos when the sun came out for a few minutes.

Today I spent 3 hours cutting and shaping a set of 9’6″ straight grain fir oars. Made for the 20′ Banks Dory that was completed a couple of weeks ago.
Rachel and the Dory
The “Rachel” and the Dory have both been moved. Rachel’s outboard motor needs to be serviced then she’s ready to be launched and moored. Now that the shop is free I can begin cutting the straight grain fir for the Dories 9′ 6″ oars. Once the oars are complete this vessel will be ready for the Cathlamet Wooden Boat…
