Today one our member took the skiff out of my shop and put it back to the storage barn, where she will be safe till we launch her this spring.

TSCA Skiff – Finishing Maintenance
This afternoon I put in a few hours and finished up the yearly maintenance of our local Traditional Small Craft Association’s work skiff. Today I painted the waterline bottom paint and applied a coat of varnish to her brightwork. She’s now ready for another fun season!!
TSCA Skiff – Topside Paint
Today I faired the epoxy fairing compound. Sanding the hull smooth and fair. Then gave her a fresh coat of Pettit EZPoxy Jade Green topside paint.
Traditional Small Craft Association Skiff
Today I started the yearly maintenance on our local Traditional Small Craft Association work skiff. Last year we completely repaired and rebuilt her. She is a wonderful boat for our local TSCA. For her to remain as of service, it’s imperative for the next three years to diligently maintain her.

TSCA Salt Bay Skiff
Today, I took 80grit and knocked off the high spots of the fiberglass 6oz cloth. Then, I mixed West 410 fairing compound and filled all glassed areas.

Today the inter chines, transom and stem were glassed in with6oz cloth. Also all screw holes were filled.

Today the clamps and screws were removed. I did a rough sanding to prep for fiberglassing the inter chines, transom and stem.
Barbey Maritime Center Boat Show
