The Osprey couple are back to our nesting platform about 2 weeks early. The Spring Chinook are making their journey up the Columbia River. This is one of three I caught this last week.

Fishing with the Granddaughters
The girls and I had a big week! With Nana’s help we harvested the last of the honey in the Lower Columbia and then we did a little Perch fishing on Welcome Slough! Lillian caught our lunch!! 10 Perch, what a feast!!??

A Final Post for 2015
12-17-2015. This is the last post of 2015. There have been a few things that have happened since the last post. The campground/marina is moving forward. What’s left for the exterior is the second story deck with railing and stairs. Along with a covered dining area with fire pit and landscaping the tent site area. The interior is insulated, sheetrocked and painted. 20′ Banks Fishing Dory, USCG – Sealing Interior
Today I sealed the interior of the dory completely with thinned epoxy. I simply mix the epoxy and then add acetone. This allows you to paint it on easily and the bare wood sucks it right up. Applying it this way also cuts way down on drips. It is then easy to sand and then two part truckbed liner…
