Eider: Companion Way Hatch
February 16, 2012; 7:30 am-2:30 pm; day #62. Today was another companion way hatch day. The hatch construction is now complete. I put a rush coat of varnish over the epoxy fill that was not completely dry just to get a sealer coat on the wood. Hopefully tomorrow I can do the install.

February 12, 2012; 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, day #60. Today I built the deck toe and the cabin drip molding. Once they were fit I put the first coat varnish on all brightwork. This is the first of appox. 5-7 coats. At the end of this day, I have logged in 305.5 single, man-hours….
