May 17, 2012 worked from 10 am – noon. I sanded the 1st cost with 220 git and applied the second coat of Pettit Easyepoxy. I had a couple of visitors this morning. This Doe and here Fawn hung around for nearly 2 hours.

May 15, 2012. I worked for 3pm-8pm. Today I built the keel shoe, skeg and stem. Then laid down the fiberglass cloth and then bedded the skeg, keel shoe and stem with thickened epoxy.

May 14, 2012. Last week a friend that is a photographer zoomed out in his jet sled and snapped a few shot of Vanessa under sail. The sun was out and the breeze was light but boy did we have fun!
5×10 Devlin Skiff: Seating and Oar Lock Bases
May 11, 2012 worked from 8am-noon. Today I built the seating and oarlock bases. I then disassembled all and re-fit them with epoxy. Then I steamed the gunwales and fit them with clamps and screws. They will dry to shape overnight.

May 10, 2012 worked from 8am-1pm. Today I sanded the inside fare ready for paint. Then built and fit the un-wales, breast hook, knees, and oar lock mount supports.

May 9 2012, worked from 11am-1pm. I took off the high spots with 60 grit and hit the complete interior with 410 faring compound.
5×10 Devlin Skiff: Stitches Removed
May 8th 2012, worked from 4:30pm-8pm. Today I removed the wire stitches and fare and filled the inside seams. Then glassed all those same seams.
