A close friend of mine had this old 16 foot wood skiff and asked if could restore it for his grandson. His grandson is an avid duck and goose hunter. This skiff will be perfect for this.
I checked the skiff out and it was well built and worth the material and labor for it’s complete restoration. This last week I started the job. By Saturday evening I applied the first coat of Jade green topcoat paint.
This next weekend I will add second coat of topcoat paint to the hull. Once it’s dry I will turn it over and begin the interior restoration.
