February 29, 2012; 8:00 am – 3:00 pm; day #68. Today I did a little painting and varnishing. The big time taker was designing a retractable rudder to fit Eider’s transom. As you can see the two side panels or cheeks are built. I have applied a heavy coat of epoxy. Tomorrow I will build the rudder blade.
