About 3 years ago I built an Osprey platform and had it mounted on the top of an old cottonwood tree that sits in the middle of a small grove about 50′ way from our back porch along the river. Well this last Tuesday I noticed that a pair of beautiful Osprey are building a nest on my platform.
My plan is after the first or second season of chicks I will mount a webcam in a small cedar box so my grandkids can share the experience with there classrooms.
The other couple of photos are of Josey, my new 10 week old sidekick. The vet said on her first checkup that she will weigh appox 25 pounds. The perfect size the help me build boats and catch fish!!
