May 16, 2012. Last night after having dinner with a friend on the south side of Welcome Slough, I spent 2 hours faring the hull that was coated with West 410 faring compound and put the first coat of Pettit EasyEpoxy on the hull. I shut off the shop light at 11 pm. I believe it’s important to stack each phase of the job as close as possible. By putting in those 2 hours last night I shortened the build time by a day. Today around noon I will be able to sand the hull and put the second coat on the hull. Tomorrow I will right the skiff and begin the process of finishing the inside.
