Garvey “Jimbo” – Gunwale Guards
Friday, today I spent 3 hours cutting and fitting the gunwale guards then masked off those same gunwales as well as the combing and applied a coat of 410 fairing compound to her decks.

Garvey “Jimbo” – Fairing the Interior Tape
Tuesday. Today I worked 3 hours. I faired all the interior fiberglass taping with 410 fairing compound. I also sealed all the topside hatches, soles and bulkheads with epoxy.
Garvey “Jimbo” – Sanding Topside Decking
Super Bowl Sunday. Today I spent 4 hours. I completed the sanding of all the topside decking and fairing all of the interior fiberglass taping. The interior is ready for 410 fairing compound and the decks are ready for fiberglassing. I ran out of time to move forward because the game starts at 3pm.

Saturday. Today I put in 4 hours filling and fiberglass taping all the soles and bulkheads that intersect the side of the hull. I also filled all screw hole and seams with epoxy wood filler.

Friday. Today I worked 5 hours coating all the undersides of the plywood soles and decking with epoxy then fastened them down imbedded in epoxy. I also coated the underside of all the hatch covers with epoxy as well. Tomorrow I’ll begin the process of fiberglass taping the soles to the sides of the hull.
