Happy New Year! It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to work on the dory. The last few days I’ve built the removable 1/2″ plywood soles. I also framed in the removable rowing bench seat. This bench is framed with full 1″x4″ reclaimed Fir that were Columbia River drift logs. Milled right here on Puget Island. I plan to skin the framed bench with 1/4″ plywood and cap it with a removable lid. This bench seat will most likely store extra fuel tanks, life vests, fishing rods and tackle.
