Today I put in 6 hours figuring the plank widths. There will be a total of 4 planks on each side. The chine or garboard plank at 14″ and the 3 others above them will be 10 3/4″ in width. As you can see in the photo I have scarfed the 2 chine planks. Tomorrow I’ll scarf the six 10 3/4″ planks.
