It’s been awhile! I hope you all had a great Christmas and Happy New Year! Last month I crossed the threshold to becoming a senior citizen. I’m now over 60! Man that seems old when I say that….I’m 60, scary!!! Anyway I’ve got four beautiful grandkids to prove it.
I have been away from this project for about 18 days, and it’s really good to be back at it. Today I put in about 4 hours finishing up all the bracing. I cut and fit the bow stem and then secured battens to each frame plumbing each one as I predrilled and screwed them into place. Tomorrow, I’ll begin the process of scarfing the 3/8″ plywood into long planks.
